1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Naad Vault, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use.

2. Description of the Application

Naad Vault is a free desktop application for managing personal vinyl and CD collections.

The application may integrate with:

• Discogs
• Google Drive

Naad Vault is not affiliated with or endorsed by these organizations. This application uses Discogs' API but is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by Discogs. 'Discogs' is a trademark of Zink Media, LLC.

3. License Grant

The developer grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the application for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not:

• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code for redistribution or commercial use
• Redistribute the Application without permission
• Modify or create derivative works without authorization
• Use the Application for unlawful purposes
• Use the Application to distribute copyrighted materials without authorization

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining backups of your data
• Ensuring compatibility with your system
• Complying with third-party service terms

The developer does not store or manage user collection data on external servers.

4.1 User-Provided Content

Users may add their own images or other materials to collection records. The developer does not review, verify, or validate ownership or licensing of any content added by users.

• You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the legal right to use, store, or back up such materials.
• If Google Drive backup is enabled, user-provided content may be included in backup files stored within your own Google account.
• The developer is not responsible for copyright infringement or misuse of third-party content added by users.

5. Third-Party Services

Functionality may depend on external APIs and services.

Changes, interruptions, or discontinuation of services provided by:

• Discogs
• Google Drive

The developer is not responsible for service interruptions or API changes.

Metadata retrieved from the Discogs API is used solely to assist users in managing their personal collections. All Discogs data and artwork remain the property of their respective rights holders.

6. Intellectual Property

All rights in the application remain with the developer.

Third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

7. Termination

The developer reserves the right to:

• Modify
• Suspend
• Discontinue

the application at any time.

Your license to use the Application terminates automatically if you violate these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

• The application is provided "as is" without warranties.
• The developer shall not be liable for data loss, system damage, or consequential damages.

Use of the Application is at your own risk.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

10. Changes to Terms

The developer may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
