Data Usage and Third-Party Services

Application Name: Naad Vault

Naad Vault is designed to manage personal vinyl and CD collections locally on the user's computer. The application does not operate backend servers and does not collect or store user collection data outside the user's device unless the user explicitly enables cloud backup.

Local Data Storage

All collection data entered by the user is stored locally on the user's device. Naad Vault does not transmit or store collection data on servers operated by the developer.

User-Provided Content

Users may optionally add their own images or other materials to collection records. Such content is stored locally as part of the user's collection data.

• Naad Vault does not verify ownership, licensing, or usage rights of user-provided content.
• Users are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate rights to store or use any materials they add.

The application does not automatically upload or distribute user-provided content.

Discogs Integration

Naad Vault allows users to search the Discogs database in order to import release metadata such as artist names, album titles, release years, publisher name etc.

• Discogs data is retrieved using the Discogs API.
• Imported metadata is stored locally to populate the user's collection records.
• Album artwork displayed in search results may be temporarily cached locally to improve browsing performance.
• Cached artwork is not redistributed and is not included in Google Drive backups.

Google Drive Backup (Optional)

Naad Vault optionally allows users to create backups of their collection data within their own Google Drive account.

• Google Drive access requires explicit user authorization via OAuth 2.0.
• The application requests access limited to files it creates using the drive.file permission scope.
• The application does not access unrelated files in the user's Google Drive.
• Backup files are created and stored within the user's own Google Drive account.
• The developer does not have access to user Google Drive data.

Developer Access to Data

The developer of Naad Vault does not collect, receive, or store user collection data, Google Drive files, or Discogs account information.
